Be Still Sunday 17

‘Be still and know that I am God.’ ~ Psalm 46:10

Handmade cinnamon heart on our Christmas tree.

Merry Christmas to all my old time friends!

I am so thankful and I am feeling so blessed. I started these ‘Be Still Sunday’ posts because I needed them. It has been a challenging year and I knew that I could rely on my faith to pull me through. I also knew that I needed to focus on each and every blessing that comes my way to make myself appreciate all that I do have.

Life can be beautiful even if it has bumps along the way. And that is what I want to share. The beauty. If you told me that I’d be sharing my faith and my blessings every Sunday on this blog, I would have said no way. Now I have to smile at that thought.

Being ‘still’ makes us so aware. Makes us pay attention. Pulls us in the direction to Him while the world is constantly tugging on us in all directions. It can be exhausting out there. Coming to the Lord is like coming home. I feel safe, wanted, and loved. It’s all I need.

So…I am hoping that you have some of your own memorable ‘be still’ moments this holiday season and beyond. Wishing you and yours a warm and heartfelt Christmas.

Holiday blessings,
