Be Still Sunday 16

‘Be still and know that I am God.’ ~ Psalm 46:10

Good Sunday morning! I truly hope that you are enjoying the season while embracing the reason. It seems to come and go so quickly. My wish is that we can carry a warm and loving holiday spirit year round.

My heart and home are feeling blessed…

~ hearing and seeing the Pileated woodpeckers in our yard. They are the second largest woodpecker in existence in the U.S. and quite a sight to see. Truly makes me appreciate such beauty and color on a drab winter day. I need to get some suet put out for them as that is what they enjoyed last winter.

~ with our tradition of attending a concert to celebrate the Christmas season. We went to see For King & Country and Casting Crowns last night. Wow! I cannot even put into words the emotions that rise to the surface when hearing such meaningful songs.

~ with my little surprise in the mail. Hubby purchased a DNA test for me. I’ve always wanted to know more about my heritage as I only know some of it on my mother’s side. My biological father walked out when I was very small…so there are a lot of unknowns. But it all turned out well. A new father walked into my life and adopted me. And he is and has always been amazing to me.

Faithful blessings,
