Hi. My name is Cindy and I’m a chocoholic.
I like to have chocolate everyday. Yes, everyday.
I love my chocolate so much that at one time I owned a franchise called Candy Bouquet.
I was able to play and smell and eat chocolates all day long.
The thing is that now I prefer healthy alternatives without all the sugar and bad ingredients that can be added. So…I found a recipe and then tweaked it. Do you do that? I find myself changing up a recipe to make it fit my wants and needs. Anyhoo, here is the recipe and I call it Sweet Treats.
1/2 cup Coconut Oil, melted and added at room temperature
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup natural nut butter (I use organic almond butter with no sugars added)
Up to 1/4 cup raw honey (this can be adjusted to your own personal taste and in combination with stevia)
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Combine in a food processor. Pour into ice cube trays and put in freezer to harden.
When formed, pop out of trays and enjoy. Extra needs to be stored in fridge.
You can also use cute candy molds if you have them.
Happy Valentine’s Day to you and yours!
