Here Comes Peter Cottontail

Bunnies. In the garden. Every year.
They don’t eat anything. They just nest and have more bunnies.
It’s been cold here, but I ventured out into the garden to see if the bunny raising has begun for the year.
I was not disappointed as I discovered some wee little ones under the straw in the middle bed.

I did not take any pictures as they were very young and I did not want to disturb them.
The above photo is from last year of a bunny I called Peter Cottontail.
He had no fear and followed me around while I did my work.
Isn’t he adorable?
I think there’s plenty of space in the garden for all of us!

  1. Awe ..How sweet that Bunnies come back every year to your place. They know that your a GOOD soul my friend. THEY feel safe there and I am glad that they have room for all of you .. Just loved that Post and the bunny from last year.. I said AWE out loud LOL .. Love it and have a HAPPY EASTER

  2. Aww, he is so cute! At our old house one year we had a rabbit that always hung around our yard. I began calling him "B. Rabbit" – I know, I'm not too clever with the names haha. I do have a rooster named "Roosty" after all 🙂

  3. That sure is a cute Peter Cottontail! We have a few bunnies venture into our yard. But with a beagle around they don't stay long!

  4. Aren't you sweet to make room for bunnies in your garden! I'm afraid my old tomcat is far too fond of a bunny lunch for them to survive around here.
