Egg-xactly!


Shhhh…
Since Easter is just around the corner, I thought I’d share the secret to boiling eggs.
Some farm women shared this with me and it has worked for me every time.
Every time, I tell you. The shells will practically fall off in your hands.
Seriously. No picking. No dings. No problems.
Just beautiful eggs.
How to do it egg-xactly…
Take eggs out of refrigerator and bring to room temperature 
(when I’m in a hurry, I’ve left them out for 30 minutes and it still works…just sayin’).
Bring enough water to cover eggs to a rapid boil.
Use a slotted spoon and slid eggs into the boiling water.
Time for 20 minutes (will need to adjust temperature so it does not over boil or boil too hard). 
When time is up, remove eggs with a slotted spoon into ice water.
When cool….be amazed as you peel your eggs.
Trust the wisdom of farm women.
Now go forth and boil those eggs!

  1. Another great idea for those pesky boiled eggs. . . I read and did a trick from Pinterest. . . add 1 tsp. of baking soda to the water, I tried it and it worked well too. . . im gonna give yours a try for the Easter eggs. . .Happy Easter.. . .
